EASY ACCESS - SUPER SKIING
An enjoyable holiday begins with a destination that is easily
reached at any time of year and pistes with guaranteed snow. We
offer both. This is because the winter sports resort of VANDANS
is very central and yet at the same time peaceful. The informal
centre of the resort is an ideal starting point for all sorts of winter
sports activities.

In just a few minutes the comfortable 8 person gondola transports
guests straight from Vandans to the Golm ski area, where
descents at the most varied degrees of difficulty await ambitious
skiers and snowboarders. Snow cannons guarantee snow right
down into the valley. A free ski bus takes guests several times aday to the Golmerbahn cable car and back. There is also adequate
free parking available.

But it’s not just when participating in alpine sports here that one
can experience the fascination of snow: whether enjoying curling,
trail-marked cross-country ski runs, cleared walking paths and
hiking trails, guided ski tours or atmospheric torchlight walks - in
Vandans there are winter delights for every taste.

Pure tobogganing pleasure is also promised by the challenging
3 km natural toboggan run with plenty of bends from Latschau
to Vandans. Start and finish are conveniently connected by the
Golmerbahn cable car. For those who want to enjoy the toboggan
run after dark, it is always floodlit on Fridays and
Saturdays from 18.00 – 21.00 hrs.

The first Alpine-Coaster in Vorarlberg
The Skigebiet Golm ski area and the winter sports resort
of Vandans are looking forward to a further attraction:
The first Alpine-Coaster in Vorarlberg was opened in September
2008.This spectacular adventure ride is a mixture of toboggan and
rollercoaster. The terrific ride, on 2-seater sledges, goes from
Latschau down the valley to Vandans. The major features of the 2.6 km long ride are the steep curves, loops and so-called “jumps”. A ride on the new Alpine-Coaster-Golm is in any event an unforgettable adventure to round off a day’s skiing, as a club or company outing or as a fantastic action-packed day for the family.
