Vandans Schützen Guild Montafon

The Montafon Schützen Guild was founded in 1955. The members built a shooting range with 10 lanes in Vandans Gandengla. The first trainings shooting took place on May 21, 1956.

In 1964 the shooting range was equipped with an automated retrieval system. The shooting range was renovated and the lounge expanded. In 1979 the shooting range was adapted to international standards, i. e. the lanes changed to 50m length.

Later the retrieval system has been replaced by Rika facilities and the area has been adapted once more. In the meantime the scoring room and the cash desk have also been renovated and the scoring system computerized. In 2002 Michael Fleisch was unanimously elected as the chairman.

Get to know interesting facts about the shooting range (small-bore rifles):

on Friday, from 4.30pm and on Sunday between 9am and 12noon you can watch the Schützen or try it yourself.
