Via ferrate

Fixed-rope climbing routes provide you with a unique opportunity to venture onto vertical rock faces, even if you are no climber. In recent years a team of mountain guides and climbing enthusiasts has constructed a number of fixed-rope climbing routes in Montafon, which have made Montafon a top destination for “via ferrata” users. Experience the adventure of climbing under the leadership and guidance of a professional mountaineer!

Adventure and Climbing park Silvretta Montafon Hochjoch 

Find your sense of balance on the high ropes course and swing 150 m out over the mountain landscape using a special coil of rope on the “flying fox”. Real daredevils have their nerves jangling on various rope jumps. An 8 m high Jacob’s ladder, a “swinging” tractor tyre, training in footwork on a boulder, fixed-rope climbing routes and abseils - this is a sport that is fun. With exercise in the fresh air, team work, family and friends, barbecues by the Seetalhüsli and all sorts of fun in the high alpine terrain, you will never forget this day.

Canyoning

On the move away from all trails and yet to be following the only possible route, feeling the force of the water, gasping for air, overcoming your fears, enjoying moments of peace, experiencing a ravine with all one's senses and plunging into the world of canyoning … you can make this dream come true in Montafon!

Canyoning in Montafon is to venture into unknown and unspoilt Nature, away from the usual hiking trails, into the middle of cleft rock faces, waterfalls and rivers. An outdoor pleasure of a very particular kind. Required items are trainers, a towel and swimwear - the specialist equipment is provided.

The guides are registered mountain and canyoning specialists.
